Not a club.
Not a secret society.
A brotherhood that has met quietly
in Bournemouth since 1911.

A house shaped by tradition, fellowship, and quiet purpose – where every degree, dinner and friendship is chosen to feel less like membership, and more like belonging.

The Lodge

Every meeting is chosen to feel less like a formality – and more like an evening with men who are glad you came.

A house shaped by tradition & quiet purpose

The Lodge

St Michael's Lodge has met in Bournemouth since 1911. Freemasonry brings together men of every trade, faith and background who meet as equals, work to become better than they were, and look after the people around them.

About the lodge

A Bournemouth address

We meet at The Knole on Knole Road – one of Bournemouth's finest Victorian mansions, our home since the 1950s.

About The Knole
The company you keep

The regalia comes off, and the evening carries on – a mixture of formality and friendship, in that order.

Beyondthemeeting

Freemasonry gives many millions to good causes every year. Closer to home, we put our weight behind people and projects around Bournemouth.

From young people finding their feet to families who could do with a hand.
